Privacy Policy

Flipudoku is operated by Evrenna in Belgium. We designed the game to work with as little personal data as possible. This policy explains what happens when you use the Flipudoku website or mobile app.

1. Who is responsible?

The data controller for Flipudoku is Evrenna, Belgium. For privacy questions or requests, email info@evrenna.com.

2. Information stored on your device

Game progress and preferences are normally stored only in your browser or app storage. This includes current games, results, achievements, streaks, settings, language and acceptance of this policy and the Terms. We do not require an account. If you choose anonymous analytics, a random installation identifier and a small delivery queue are also stored locally. You can disable analytics and erase its identifier from Flipudoku's Settings, or erase all local data through your browser or device settings.

3. Optional anonymous analytics

Only with your permission, Flipudoku sends a random installation identifier and limited events: app opened, game started, game completed, game type, puzzle date, difficulty, completion time, platform and app version. We do not send your name, email address, puzzle contents or entered numbers. We use this information to understand unique active installations, daily-challenge participation, completion rates and technical usage. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in Settings. The identifier is not shared between devices and changes when local analytics data is erased.

4. Website and technical logs

When you visit the website or analytics endpoint, our hosting and security providers may temporarily process IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser/device information and technical error or security data. This is necessary to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the service. These technical logs are not included in puzzle-performance reports.

5. Advertising in the mobile app

The mobile app may use Google AdMob to show banner ads and optional rewarded ads that unlock an extra hint. Google and its advertising partners may process identifiers, IP address, device information, ad interactions, diagnostics and approximate location inferred from IP. Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalised or non-personalised. Consent or privacy options are presented where required. The website does not load AdMob.

6. Notifications and sharing

If you enable reminders, the chosen schedule and permission are managed locally by your browser or device. If you choose to share a result, the content is sent only through the app or service you select (such as your device share sheet, WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger or X); that provider's policy then applies.

7. Purposes and legal bases

8. Providers and international transfers

Data may be processed by our website and analytics hosting/security providers (including Cloudflare), our email delivery provider (Resend, for aggregate reports to the operator), Google (for AdMob in the mobile app), and a sharing service only when you select it. These providers may process data outside your country. Where required, transfers are protected by adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or another lawful safeguard. See Google's Privacy Policy and advertising information.

9. Retention

Local game data remains until you erase it or the browser/app removes it. Raw analytics events are retained for up to 14 months. Technical logs are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for security, operation and legal obligations. Support correspondence is normally retained only while needed to handle the request and establish or defend legal claims. Third-party providers apply their own retention periods.

10. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, receive portable data, withdraw consent and complain to a privacy regulator. California and other US state residents may also have rights to know, correct or delete information and to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising, without discrimination. Flipudoku does not sell personal information for money. To exercise a right, email info@evrenna.com. We may need to verify your request. You may also contact the Belgian Data Protection Authority or your local regulator.

11. Children

Flipudoku is a general-audience puzzle game and does not knowingly ask for a name, email address or date of birth. The game is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can investigate and delete it. Parents and guardians can manage app permissions, advertising choices and local data on the device.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information. No website, device or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

13. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when Flipudoku, its providers or applicable requirements change. We will change the date above and provide additional notice when legally required. Questions and requests: info@evrenna.com.
